In line with our ambitious growth targets and our focus on Asia, we are now looking for a Marketing Manager Asia for Chicago Pneumatic to be part of the Division Management Team.
This new post (lasting a minimum of 2 years) is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for new challenges in a highly exposed position which is critical to our success. Mission
In this position reporting to the VP , your responsibilities will include:
· Continue to implement the strategy for Chicago Pneumatic to grow the existing business in Asia and make changes if needed
· Explore, identify and propose new growth opportunities
· Propose new development projects in conjunction with current activities
· Structure the business to develop and implement a global long-term and short-term strategy
· Coordinate and communicate effectively with Marketing and R&D departments to ensure customer demands are fulfilled in an efficient, reliable and quality controlled manner
· Be responsible for the next generation plan for products to fit Asia
· Expand and optimize customer satisfaction by providing innovative products and effective brand recognition focused on key markets served
· Drive marketing and sales activities based on customer demand, product innovations and UGP development
· Develop a plan for building and maintaining the required skills in all key areas to further the business goals and brand image
· Ensure that product launches are fully implemented in all the countries in the region
· Further develop the local market intelligence and map the segments and regions
· Enhance Key Customer management
The position will require extensive travel in the region
Experience requirements
We are looking for a person with a successful background in marketing and sales from a Customer Center. You should have an international profile, proven leadership skills and also proven background in sales management. Past experience with distribution management is a plus.
Knowledge
We are looking for a person with a strong drive and engagement. You thrive in a dynamic and international environment that requires high level of energy. You need to have a proven background as a strong business leader and the ability to drive and challenge a team to great success.
You should have enough understanding of engineered equipments and what customers require from companies' supplying them.
Educational requirements
· As a minimum, a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering or any other relevant field is required.
· An MBA (Masters degree in Business Administration) or other relevant field is a plus
· Very good command of the English language (another language will be a plus)
Personality requirements
· Above average leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including the ability to influence beyond direct reports, i.e., GM customer centers, KCM, etc.
· Strong inter-personal skills in dealing with clients
· Excellent presentation skills
· Sound problem solving skills, coupled with the ability to execute and deliver results
Strong analytical and reasoning skills with good financial understanding
Country and city description
Based in Shanghai although other locations in Asia may be considered.

The position is subject to local plus terms and conditions.
The position requires frequent travel.
