Position: Supply Chain Manager

Responsibilities

As the Supply Chain Manager for the Shanghai manufacturing site, you will be responsible for the comprehensive supply plans for the required items, subassemblies and peripheral materials, as well as the logistic portion. You will be challenged to balance the delivery and inventory, and work in fast-paced, high-pressure environment to support the organization's cost and growth objectives.

The position requires efforts and active participation in the following areas:

· Deliver the PD objectives

· Drive continual improvement of products through process development resulting in:

OTD improvement

Inventory reduction

Material cost reduction

Logistic compliance and cost reduction

· Identify suppliers for material, including direct production, material, and MRO

· Define and execute localization and supplier transfer plans, based on technical and business requirements, to achieve localization rate, timing, and cost targets for the China factory

· Interface with internal technical and business support groups, including manufacturing engineering and global strategic sourcing, to develop and execute localization plans

· Negotiate and establish flexible delivery terms, and manage the initial delivery and qualification processes

· Daily management of production cells with respect to material supply

· Problem identification, root cause analysis, and countermeasure development, verification and implementation

· Build & shape up a strong SC team by lead by excellent example and inspire others to achieve.

Qualifications:

· A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent, Master's degree preferred

· 7-10 years of experience in sourcing or supply-base engineering, with at least one year of management experience

· A track record of successfully planning and executing projects in a highly cross-functional environment

· Strong leadership qualities, and a proven ability to combine complex technical and business requirements to make difficult decisions

· Extensive experience with ERP environments, such as Oracle, SAP, or BAAN

· Experience in a demand-flow or rate-based production environment

· Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required
