SUMMARY
The Business Development Director is responsible for prospecting and securing profitable new business in assigned geographies or market segments using consultative selling techniques. He/she must have a thorough understanding of reverse logistics and aftermarket service needs of customers in the electronics industry and be seen as a trusted advisor by customers and partners. The Business Development Director leads and works collectively with solutions development, operations, finance, materials and management teams to create winning value propositions to achieve maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. He/she must manage a robust funnel of opportunities using the Salesforce.com CRM tool and Miller Heiman sales methodology.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1?Lead customer representation for new account development in Jabil Global Services in Asia
2 Develop and execute on sales account plans for after-market service opportunities that ensures attainment of company
sales goals and profitability.
3?Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses.
4?Accountable for overall strategic business management within the assigned sector/region..
5?Regularly interact with executives internally and externally on issues related to business /account management. Interactions
normally involve controversial situations, customer negotiations, or influencing and persuading executives.
6?Proactive opportunity development through newly developed sales channels and ownership of opportunity funnel.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1?Ten to fifteen years of applicable experience, including a minimum of 5 years field sales experience
2?Proven track record of sales success and quota attainment.
3?Post secondary education in a related field
4?Must have well-developed regional sales/account management experience within the after-market service, reverse logistics
or repair service industries with an OEM, ODM or third party service provider.
5?Must have strong knowledge of reverse logistics/repair industry participants.
6?Must have familiarity with after-market service models in the electronics industry.
7?Strong business management and customer management skills.
8?Strong business development, win/win negotiation, contract negotiation, teamwork skills. Communication and interpersonal
skills are critical.
9?Strong leadership skills and ability to influence senior management within customer, site locations, and corporate offices
are critical.
10 High degree of computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office application.
11 Strong skills and abilities in conflict resolution, influencing individuals over which you have no direct authority, and
developing complex account strategies.
12 Frequent travel may be required
13 Jabil is flexible on the location for this position
