Account Manager / Sales Engineer

Job Description: this sales position is focused on developing business in accounts within a given geographic in China for Audio Precision; ultimate goal to drive growth in orders

Primary Responsibilities

• Actively grow Audio Precision orders within a given geographic territory

• Actively develop business within existing accounts

• Actively prospect to identify and win new accounts

• Develop organizational understanding of accounts and develop relationships with key decision makers and influencers within those accounts

• Be knowledgeable and proficient with the Audio Precision product portfolio

• Communicate the value of Audio Precision solutions to prospective customers

• Collaborate with distributors/dealers on sales opportunities (if necessary)

• Actively communicate with sales management about sales opportunities and competitive situations

• Monthly opportunity forecasting and territory planning

 

Required Skills/Qualifications

• 5+ experience years selling test instrumentation or audio equipment is required (experience in both is highly desired)

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering (audio specialization preferred)

• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

• Self-motivated and self-starter; results driven

• English-language skills are desired but not required

• Travel within China is required
