Senior Application Support, Asia

Reporting to:
IT Application Support Manager Regional, Asia
Peers:
Software Quality Assurance and Deployment Analyst (located in SZ ODC)

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Key responsibilities:
o Responsible for the various Production Application Support functions within IT Services to deliver support to end users in True about how to use various types of application systems efficiently and effectively in fulfilling business objectives
o Actively identify and follow up incidents according to the IT incident/problem resolution process to provide service recovery within SLA
o Work closely with Application Support team to ensure availability and performance essential services within application infrastructure
o Interact with various internal IT support functions, Development, Operations, QA and external 3rd party vendors to trouble shoot and resolve complex problems
o Work with appropriate support providers to analyze root cause and provide a permanent fix or workaround
o Application monitoring, performance tuning, and testing

Key accountabilities:
o Senior Application Support will provide services for HL/SOA application / database of whole Asia.

o HL/SOA application support team
o Developer team
o Project Manager

External:
o Third party suppliers / vendors
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Skills:
o Good knowledge of web application architecture
o Communicate in English
o Strong analytical & technical skill, good listening and communication skills at all levels
o Knowledge in MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle Database, J2EE web application skills
Experience:
o 3 - 5 years of working experience in production support and issue resolution as a business or technical analyst and experience as a production support analyst.
Qualifications:
o Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields.
