About the role

 

• Technical support for the development of new business in conjunction with regional applications, marketing and sales organization.
• Accountable to support and stimulate design wins in their target accounts
• Successfully builds relationship with customer R&D, test and other technical teams, to catch every design-in opportunity
• Actively follow up customer project design process, and take prompt response to project change and customer request to secure the win.
• Respond to ‘deep’ technical Transistor, Diode, Logic & ESD customer requests in North China. Travel will be expected.
• To provide technical and design-in support to the marketing department for selected customers (e.g. models, demo boards, development kits, technical documentation)
• Qualifies the value of our products (strengths versus competitive products) and quantifies the technical benefits derived from choosing Nexperia.

What you will do

• Acting as the technical knowledge base for our Transistor, Diode, Logic & ESD products
• Customer support including:
• Contribute to reference designs based on application knowledge and customer input
• Provide customer input into technology capability roadmap
• Visit customers and provide technical training and/or design-in support
• Producing or adapting application notes and articles for publication
• Create regional-specific demos and marketing-support hardware
• Develop in depth technical understanding of our products and datasheet parameters.
• Support quality with application guidance & circuit analysis, travel will be necessary.
• Competitor technical product analysis, e.g. evaluate and report on in-circuit performance of competitor devices relative to our own products

What you will need

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering in an electronics or physics related subject
• Preferably with 5+ years’ experience in semiconductor industry
• Very good written & spoken English and Chinese.
• Capable of understanding any technical aspects of the system, from the customers’ application down to the product features and product development process
• Must have ability to perform lab characterization & problem solving
• Clear communicator, capable of both detailed technical explanations as well as high-level management summaries
• Diplomatic & persuasive with customers
• Able to work collaboratively and maintain and develop long-term relationships
