A World leading Company of industrial distribution company with wide range of business lines and big market share, serving for over 500,000 clients over the world.

The Role
You should Lead and develop sourcing strategy for identifying, qualifying, and selecting vendors that provide products for resale. Develop negotiation strategies, manage relationships, maximize value, ensure purchasing needs are met and that projects progress as scheduled. You must be willing to travel for sourcing business both domestically and internationally on frequent basis.


Main duties / responsibilities

  • Develops and leads strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Develops strategies for identifying, selecting, qualifying, and maintaining relationships with vendors.
  • Partner with other LOB Sourcing Managers to leverages economies of scale to best meet the purchasing needs of the company in terms of cost, quality, and vendor ability.
  • Partners with Sourcing Quality and Logistics to ensure quality and on time delivery.
  • Oversees production in terms of pricing and quality of negotiated purchases and ensures that purchasing needs throughout the business are met.
  • Negotiates price changes with major vendors.
  • Stays current on Sourcing trends and market changes to better identify Sourcing opportunities and utilize fellow Country sourcing leaders.

Required Qualifications

  • Over 5 years experience Sourcing Building Materials or Hardware
  • International experience (worked and/or lived in countries other than China )
  • BS in Engineering (Materials, Mechanical, Industrial, etc)
  • Demonstrated ability to accomplish goals through teamwork and leadership
  • Fluent in written and verbal English
  • Fluent in Mandarin
  • Willingness to relocate to Shenzhen, China

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in Quality or Product Engineering
  • Fluent in Additional Asian Languages
  • Supervisory Experience
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Excellent logic and problem solving skills
  • Six sigma certification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be flexible as well as develop plans and schedule to successfully complete projects on time
