Overall managing EC Replenishment team including JD flagship store and depot, from regular KPI, to process optimization, strategy alignment with management and cross team, as well as managing multi-functional business with 20+ team members.
1. Inventory Goals and Objectives:
- Propose/Collaborates on each store inventory / In-stock goal setting and responsible for the goals achievement and management with MDSE/ops and finance team;
- Achieves financial results by analyzing data and using bottom up inventory planning to develop recommendations; analyzing seasonal inventory flow plans to ensure they meet customer demand and return on investment goals;
- Coordinating the timing and tracking of the movement and arrival of merchandise across the supply chain, validating feasibility of goals;
2. Inventory flow Planning & Development
- Responsible for EC by store/business type opportunity define, the strategy tactic and initiatives establishment and champion change management;
- Corporate on Replenishment system strategy define and management;
- Creates and authorizes forecast parameters and modifications by developing inventory strategies;
- Directs and optimizes supply chain execution by determining and approving channel decision from supplier to WH/store to best fit sales, in-stock, and profit metrics;
- Develop Seasonal / Holiday/Promotion replenishment strategy smoothing inventory flow to balance inventory and In-stock; responsible for exit plan executive and evaluation, esp for 618, 88, 11/11, CNY special events etc;
- Oversees the placement and validation of orders by managing the calibration of parameters within the supply chain process to determine appropriate inventory levels;
- Participating in and managing cross-functional projects to meet strategic financial plans;
- Optimize high inventory, close to expiry, shrinkage inventory;
3. System and Tools:
- Instruct system manager to develop, maintain and continuously improve EC REPL related system, tools, reporting, and long term system upgrade plan;
- Work with tech team and upstream business team to align strategy on short/mid/long term system solutions;
- Identify opportunity in daily work, provide system business request from ops perspective for continuous improvement;
4. Communication, Collaboration:
- Developing, coordinating, and completing demand plans with upstream inventory/flow providers including suppliers, DC, FDC, IDC, club, stores etc, and other business partners; Examining and authorizing co-managed supplier flow plans and inventory strategies;
- Coordinating the collaboration between suppliers, Clubs, Stores, Logistics, Transportation, Merchandising, offline repl and Planning as it pertains to supply chain management to ensure sales, in-stock, inventory, profitability, and strategy goals are achieve
- Developing and presenting recommendations to site ops, EC buyers/buyers and planners for addressing conflicting goals;
- Work closely with EC logistic team for WH capacity planning/relocate/service level, pre-sale, customer return and complaints aspects, also need regular communication with 3PL logistic service provider mainly in WH perspective;
