General Overview

To be fully responsible for the Group Financial reporting and control. This entails, J&S Chinese accounting, ET2C International Group Reporting, USR Financial Accounting, and Georgie Porgy accounting.

Job duties

? Review all Financial internal control procedures.

? Create a new SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for the Group

? Ensure that the Monthly Management Accounts are completed by the 5th working day after the month end

? Ensure that the Monthly Management Accounts are totally accurate, and that all accruals and prepayments are correctly recorded.

? Undertake full analysis of Budget/Actual monthly expenses and present opportunities to save money for the company. Provide for explanations of major variances.

? Implement new authorization procedures, and undertake internal audits to check different department costs.

? Review the HR department for the calculations of the salary, social security and income tax payments for verification purposes.

? Ensure that both receivables and payables are received and paid on-time.

? Review our Accounting procedures to maximise profits and tax payments.

? Review the reporting systems for our Buying Office clients, to improve and simplify the procedures.

? Ensure that Year End Audits for all companies are quickly and effectively carried out.

? Restructure the team so that staff are fully motivated and are able to learn new accounting tasks within the department.

? Ensure that all filing in the Department is correctly managed, and review the practices, as there is far too much wasted space in the office. Be prepared to take on a “hands-on” role from time to time.

? Ensure that the office is immaculately maintained by the staff.

? Constantly look for ways to save money for the company and improve profitability.

? Review all Reports and implement new reports for Management as required from time to time.

? Review the QC’s department expense management, as there are no proper controls in place.

? Review the company’s costings systems with the COO.

? Able to work to strict timetables for monthly management accounts and year end audits

? Able to think strategically, with good business sense and commercially awareness

? Demonstrate the ability to supervise and lead the accounting personnel in the execution of the department undertaking

? Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by the CEO

? Ensure that there is a happy working environment, that the team are well managed, and that all the team work cohesively with all other Department heads.

? Overseas travel required from time to time.

Job Requirements

? Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or a related field from an accredited university. CPA/ACCA or equivalent preferred

? Must have good working knowledge of SAP, or similar accounting systems

? Highly motivated, hard-working, creative problem solver with strong analytical and execution skills

? Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to share and drive results effectively with all levels in the organization

? 10+ years of finance experience in accounting, financial analysis, business analysis and Controllership

? Demonstrated ability to collect, interpret data and develop analysis or forecasts

? Fluent in English is a must
