MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
1. Work with global face care director & discover team to identify suitable technology & exploit the opportunities
2. Define technical strategy and lead R&D cross functional team (CFC) to deliver technical mix to innovation program.
3. Provide early input to and work with platform leader & discover team to ensure discover program is consumer relevant.
4. Work with global brand team, supply chain to deliver innovation & CIP program
5. Support regional deploy centres to deliver & exploit innovation in the market place OTIF

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Deliver technical design mix for face care global innovation
- Work closely within cross functional global team to ensure that business objective are agreed and met
- Effectively network with the category discover & regional deploy centers to help ensure discover program are relevant and exploited.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:
- Project Management & TPL skills
- Product Development/Skin Care Formulation skills
- Claim development and management
- Consumer Insight and Understanding
- Coaching and Developing team

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Worked in WL1D and as formulation work stream leader for at least 3 years
The person must have good track record as innovation or technology work stream leader
Must know how to create strong linkages of inter-dependence with the CFC, RDC & supply chain
Must be able to work & communicate effectively across different cultural background
Have experience leading and coaching a small team.
Must poses strong raw material, formulation knowledge and science in semi solid & liquid technology for cosmetic application, particularly emulsion base cream/liquid.
Must have understanding about consumers and able to turn technical information into consumer relevant proposition.
He/she should have keenness to create and operate his/her & team agenda independently.

TRAVEL:
Mainly inside Asia with global brand team and cross regional travel with discover team & other priority markets.
