Job Responsibilities:
Deliver product development contribution OTIF to relevant projects/part of projects of the portfolio according to key project deliverables
- Plan and execute trials, tests, measurement activities within projects
- Accurate recording (properly maintained lab book), analysis and reporting of experimental data
- Contribution and, perhaps, leadership in maintaining a fit-for-purpose experimental facility (laboratory, instruments, method development).
- Work with CTI to define CI plan required to generate technical understanding of consumer needs, to convert consumer need insights into technical hypotheses and to define and support execution of evaluation of prototypes
- Work closely with Discover teams and Raw Material Suppliers to identify technical options to deliver consumer need
- Transfer of technical know-how to Regional Deploy teams
- Ensure compliance with /proper use of Unilever enabling systems (DQS, Vitality, InterSpec, IPM etc.)
- Define technical specifications for materials and formulations
- Deliver to IPR strategy in expertise area
- Work accordingly to SHE and QA activities and regulatory requirements
- When applicable: generate new ideas by working with partners inside and outside Unilever
- When applicable: work closely with CTI, Process Development and Analytical teams to organise and execute appropriate in-vivo evaluation to help guide product development
- When applicable: Support Process Development team to scale-up prototype preparation from Laboratory to Pilot Scale.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor above in chemistry and related majors.
- At least 3 years pre-experience in FMCG or Cosmetic industry is preferred.
- Good technical and consumer insights are preferred.
- Able to work in a team as well as independently.
- Goal-oriented, self motivated, proactive, fast learning and passion for techniques.
- Good communication in both English and Chinese.
- Science and techniques understanding, analytic and data processing skills, logical thinking are preferred.
