Job Responsibilities:
• Supporting the team to achieve its goals and objectives and monitor target delivery (commercial analyst function including reporting and analysis on VIP savings, cash generation, Price-to-Price movement, complexity reduction)
• Supporting Global Procurement Manager with preparation of RFQs and their analysis
• Ensure the implementation of the Global strategies with the Clusters North Asia, South East Asia & Australasia, South Asia and respective countries.
• Creation and updating contracts in DOMINO and ensuring contracts as per local requirement are in place
• Supporting GPM with price forecasting and Forecast variance analysis when required
• Coordinating procurement projects as needed
• Responsibility over a defined part of the portfolio with regards to strategy, supplier management and negotiation. Participate in supplier negotiations
• Support country team during supply chain issues (e.g. crisis management)
• Identifying metrics, tools and processes to optimise ways of working
• Business partnering with MET (Material Expect Team), but also represents the procurement function globally when interacting with other global functional areas (e.g. R&D, Logistics, GCSM)
• Maintain master data bases updated aligning regional and global information regularly
• Building and managing relationships with suppliers & internal customers/stakeholders
• Measuring and managing overall performance of suppliers
• Work on data gathering/ analysis with respect to the sustainable sourcing agenda
• Gather relevant market updates on the portfolio and understand its impact on negotiation and pricing
• Track key savings initiatives and coordinate implementation across clusters/countries.
• Keep an open eye for new opportunities to improve suppliers strategy
• Build up China LCC sourcing supplier base for Functional Chemicals

Job Requirements:
• University degree, Chemistry preferred
• Procurement experience
• Supply Chain/Logistics Insights, Multinational experience a plus
• Strong business sense
• Strong communication and co-ordination skills
• Team worker. High SOL attributes
• Logical thinking and data sensitive
• Fluent in English
• Fluent in Chinese is preferential
• Global mindset
