Job Responsibilities
- Develop and Deliver the industry solution/asset for E&U industry.
- Follow WW solution teams' directions to perform the localization for global solution/asset(s) to fit local customers' requirements.
- Participate in customer projects for delivery purpose.
- Follow the IBM (GBSC) development process and quality standards. Make sure the solution/asset aligned with the architectural design and meet customer and global solution teams' requirements.
Job Requirements (skills/experiences)
Required:
- Strong and proved J2EE application design & development experience, with 3 years experience at least
- Familiar with software engineering methods. Knowledge of IBM development process is a plus.
- Practical experience with platforms: WAS, DB2, Oracle
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English
- Industry knowhow about the E&U industry is preferable. Good understanding about the E&U industry international standards is preferable.
Optional (requires 1-2 of below 6 skill categories):
1) EAM/Maximo
- Asset management understanding (any EAM SW knowledge will be advantage)
- EAM/ERP implementation experience - minimum 2 projects
- Experience on IBM Maximo development and deployment. Knowledge on IBM Maximo in nuclear area is a plus.
2) Message Broker
- Experience with IBM Websphere Integrator Message Broker tool kit
- Experience in designing and developing maps, message flows and configure/develop adaptors
- Broad knowledge on enterprise integration middleware such as IBM WebSphere MQ/Message broker, WebSphere ESB/process server etc
- Solid knowledge and skills on SOA styled Customer Application Development, including Web Services (XML, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, BEPL, SCA/SDO...), ESB and MQ... etc.
3) BAO
- Basic knowledge in mathematics, statistics, operations research, engineering, economics or finance
- At least 2 years experience in analytic skills, yet be a strategic thinker who can see the big picture, while managing the details
- At least 2 years experience in solving client's analytics problems and effectively communicating results and methodologies
- Good experience with IBM products, such as SPSS, ILOG, Cognos, Jrules, FileNet, DataStage
4) SAP
- with 2 years SAP Consultant experience, in either categories like FICO, MM, CRM, PM, IS-U or CR+B
5) BPM
- At least 2 years experience in implementing and integrating BPM solutions for customers, based on IBM's products (like IBM Business Process Manager 7.5, Filenet, ...)
- At least 2 years experience in Business Process Engineering
- At least 2 years experience in IBM's BPM 7.5
6) .Net
- At least 2 years experience in C#.Net and ASP.Net Development/Support
- At least 1 year experience in Oracle or SQL Server or DB2 or MySQL
- Experience in Sharepoint Design/Development and Silverlight is preferable
Qualifications (Education/Major/Certificates)
B.S. or M.S. in Utility, Computer Science or a related field is strongly preferred
