Greater China Systems and Technology Laboratory---CSTL
Established in 2004, the IBM Greater China Systems and Technology Laboratory (CSTL), together with IBM China Development Laboratory (CDL) and China Research Laboratory (CRL), makes up the three development and research laboratories in China.
After the phenomenal growth in recent years, we now have more than 1200 engineers in Beijing, Shanghai and Taipei laboratories. We continue to grow in both size and breadth and depth of our skill and knowledge. CSTL, with its distinguished technical talents, excellent product development, outstanding customer service and ongoing innovation, has established excellent reputation. Enjoying the increasing involvement in development of leading edge technology, CSTL is attracting more and more high-tech talents in China.
As one of the major STG Labs worldwide, IBM CSTL has been involved in the development and research of many key products. In addition to the independent development of System x server and Chip Set in hardware area, we have also contributed in software development including IBM i operating system, System x firmware, cross platform System Management, Storage, and High Performance Computing. Among them, most of System x Hardware development are in Taiwan, with the rest of software development and chip design in Shanghai and Beijing. In order to respond to customer dynamic demands and increase customer satisfaction in Greater China Group (GCG) and Asia Pacific (AP) market, our Lab Service team is providing professional, timely, and high quality service to our customers.
Now, with its excellent development team and high quality product deliveries , not only our energetic IBM CSTL have received good reputation within IBM , but also our products and services have profoundly influenced finance, assurance, government, telecom, enterprise and public service sectors in China market.
