Job description
IBM DemandTec is a strategic piece of IBM Smarter Commerce offerings with its established leader position in providing cloud-based price, promotion and assortment solutions for the retail and consumer packaged goods industries. DemandTec products and solutions extend IBM's Smarter Commerce initiative by adding price, promotion and other merchandising and marketing analytics to help companies adjust strategies based on customer buying trends.
In this position, you'll work closely with the Engineer development teams, Product Management and the Modeling Services team to perform adequate testing on analytical software to ensure high product quality. You'll be responsible for performing functional, patch, regression, performance testing and automate/maintain test plans. As the owner of your assigned features, you'll be responsible for the quality of these features on an on-going basis. You'll work diligently to finish QA tasks from iteration to iteration.

Collect test requirements and design the test plan
Prepare testing data
Develop, execute, and automate the test cases
Report product defects
Report test progress and status
Communicate with IBM world-wide developers, QAs, product managers etc...
Required Skills:

Attention to detail
Familiar with Windows and Unix or Linux systems
Expertise in SQL
Experience in QA automation using Selenium or other tools
Familiar with DB2 database or Oracle or MSSQL
Familiar with C/C++ or Java or Perl or Python
Familiar with Agile software development process
Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English
Proactive, dedicated, self-motivated team player
Required
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Math, Statistics, Computer Science or Physics
5 years of software QA experience
At least 3 years of working experience in SQL
At least 3 years of working experience in Linux and Windows operating system
Working experience in using Selenium QA automation tool
