IBM DemandTec is a strategic piece of IBM Smarter Commerce offerings with its established leader position in providing cloud-based price, promotion and assortment solutions for the retail and consumer packaged goods industries. DemandTec products and solutions extend IBM's Smarter Commerce initiative by adding price, promotion and other merchandising and marketing analytics to help companies adjust strategies based on customer buying trends.
IBM DemandTec is hiring for DemandTech Promotion Planning and Promotion Execution products development and testing. These products are being used by largest retails in the North America.
The job responsibilities of the development manager include:
- Build SaaS-based Enterprise Marketing Management application
- Design, code and debug applications
- Conduct design & code reviews
- Review system test scenarios & test cases
- Lead the local dev team to design, development, and deliver the high quality products
Skill Requirement
- BS, prefer MS in CS or equivalent
- Good programming practices with solid object-oriented development experience with 3+ yrs Java experience
- Experience in designing, building, and maintaining functionality for enterprise-quality web applications
- Proficiency with Web technologies, such as Struts, JSP, JavaScript and Ajax
- Proficiency in SQL
- Flex experience a plus
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills to analyze and suggest improvements to existing code and designs
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating environments
- Able to demonstrate initiative
- Detail-oriented, results-oriented, and action-oriented
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively

Bachelor's Degree
At least 3 years experience in Java Experience
English: Intermediate
Chinese simplified: Fluent
