Job description
Ensure understanding the IBM, IST Learning & HR strategies, focus areas (with specific focus on Sales Eminence), processes and measures.
Lead the WW engagement & deployment of IBM Sales & Industry Learning's key initiatives to achieve significant business value for IBM across the segments :
- New to sales
- Existing sales professionals
- Sales teams/Sales leaders
by:
Communicating the purpose and advantages of our offerings to new & experienced hires and managers. Support integration of all new sellers, including acquisitions and SO deals, through successful onboarding via our offerings.
Facilitating the development of sales leaders through team interventions & appropriate offerings e.g. FLSM
Delivering appropriate learning interventions to build improved sales capability & achieve closure of critical sales expertise gaps
Successfully piloting & delivering new offerings in your GEO e.g. Sharpen Client Focus, Financial Selling Portfolio
Promoting key offerings through
Contribute to IST Learning meeting or exceeding all financial targets/roadmaps in a partnership with CLD and regional WFP's
Ensure IBMers satisfaction with IST Learning offerings remains very high, as measured through the NSI feedback process. Attain or exceed a minimum NSI of 85% for delivery, and take appropriate actions if below this to demonstrate improvement and prevention of further recurrence.
Accurate recording of availability and utilization in Master Scheduling DB &/or appropriate tools to enable business management control & accurate tracking and comparison
Engage in continuous dialogue on the Sales Eminence strategy & the value proposition of learning, in order to change learning from cost to the business to investment in the future capabilities of IBM.
Contribute to achievement of Sales Eminence targets in your IMT and market
Maintain a good business acumen knowledge of local IMT/GMT business priorities & challenges in order to be able to relate to it during the delivery of our offerings
Provide any valuable feedback your personal delivery to CLD/major market pillar teams, via LPMs and best practice & facilitation enablement to help improve sales learning offerings
Contribute to and suggest productivity & process improvements & expense savings, at the same time maintaining or improving the value of the learning for the business and IBM.
Grow personal skills as a facilitator to ensure optimized utilisation and deployability locally and and globally
Attend the regular 1-1 calls and keep your management informed about:
the delivery outcomes of the past period,
the projects and activities you are involved in when you don't facilitate, and the achievements,
planned delivery for the next period,
any other information you have on local specifics (like economic climate, sales strategy, demand, challenges) which can impact our learning interventions
Contribute to a high performing facilitator team with specific focus on smooth collaboration with job roles inside and outside of the pillar :

Be an active team member of the Sales & Industry IST pillar team (local/international) - responsive to requests for help or support from a team member, maintaining effective working relationship (facilitators, administrators, program support...), & be a role model of IBM's Values.

Collaborate with CLD,WFPs, RLIs, GLDS to strengthen the expertise of IBM's sales population (sellers, sales leaders, sales teams) through the delivery of innovative, world class learning solutions to achieve statistically measurable improvements in the assessed expertise of the sales population
Outside of delivery engagements, ensure productive use of time through demand & pipeline generation for future delivery, building relationships with WFPs, LIs and key BU stakeholders, sharing best practices in the pillar, improving your own skills & delivery capability.
