BU Description
CDL GTS Offerings Development is the core development team within IBM globally, focusing on Cloud offerings, such as IBM Smart Cloud Enterprise, IBM Smart Cloud Enterprise Plus, IBM Smart Business Desktop Cloud, Self-Enablement Portal, etc, which covers IaaS, PaaS and SaaS in cloud. These cloud offerings are IBM strategic Cloud offerings, which are based on IBM leading products of WebSphere, Tivoli, Information Management and Rational, with leveraging latest technologies on SOA, Web2.0, Business Analytics. The CDL team is responsible for the offerings project management, architecture, development, quality assurance, maintenance and technical support, and most of the leaders are taking global leadership positions now.
Job Responsibilities
The Team is to build cutting edge common cloud management platform for IBM Cloud solutions.
In GTS dev team, you will have chance to:
· Work on latest technologies and gain insight on new business models
· Work on IBM Cloud solutions in a globally integrated team with top notch people
· Expand scope and depth of your technical leadership
We are now looking for highly motivated developers to join us. The candidates will deliver high quality products of a large scale cloud system. The candidate will be responsible for
· Successful delivery of all the phases of the development cycle including requirements, design, development, unit testing, and integration
· Ensuring that the projects goals are met within tight deadlines, scope and resource requirements.
· Making strong technical contributions
· Working cross functionally with WW global teams.
Job Requirements (skills/experiences)
-Experience in OpenStack implementation or contribution is a strong plus
-Proficient programming skills in Java, C or C++; Familiar with Python is a big plus.
-Hands on experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.
-Comprehensive knowledge of and expertise in Object Oriented design pattern and REST etc.
-Knowledge with Cloud and Virtualization (KVM, PowerVM, VMware, etc.)
-Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
-Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English
-Excellent team player
-Self-motivated, strong sense of ownership and high accountability
Qualifications(Education/Major/Certificates)
B.S. or above in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering.
