BU Description
WebSphere Commerce (or WC) is one of the largest J2EE solution of IBM for e-business. WC supports very complex configuration: multi-platform (Win/Sun/AIX/Linux/OS400/OS390), all main database (DB2/Oracle/DB2 400/DB2 390), all main http server (IHS/IIS/SunOne/Domino), complex topology (cluster/clone) and many other supporting software (MQ/LDAP/Portal/...). CDL WC FVT/CVT/Test Tools department is the main FVT/CVT/Test Tools department of WC worldwide. It owns most of the FVT/CVT testing (planning and execution) and Test Tools development work of WC product.
Job Responsibilities
Developer:
The candidates will work on the J2EE based E-Commerce applications development. The scope include:
Maintain existing products and fix both internal defect and external APAR as L3.
Design & Implement new features for products.
Work with QA team to continue to improve the product quality.
Work with customer support team to provide high quality and in-time service to world wide customers.
Job Requirements (skills/experiences)
Developer:
Strong technical skills/experience on Java, Opensource automation tools
Strong technical skills/experience on WAS/STRUTS/DATABASE development/administration
Self-motivated, quick learner and with strong problem determination/solving ability
Knowledge/experience on IBM Automation tools is a plus
Good written & spoken English
Team worker
Developer lead:
Besides the above requirements for tester or developer, lead needs :
Fluent in both spoken and written English
Strong leadership and lead experience
Required
Bachelor's Degree
English: Fluent
Preferred
Master's Degree
