BU Description
IBM CDL DIAS (Data Integration & Analytics Services) team is a rapid growing-up team in GTS Development Lab. This team is supporting IBM CIO value chain applications which created significant contribution to IBM business.
Currently this team focuses on the design and implementation of IBM internal Operational Data Store, Customer Support Data Warehouse and Acquisition Data Integration for IBM CIO office.
In this team, you will have great opportunities of working with senior Data Integration professionals and plenty of chances of learning leading edge Data Integration technologies. Most importantly, you can have the valuable opportunities to adopt the advanced Data Integration concepts & technologies to make IBM smarter.
Job Responsibilities
· Initialize, plan and maintain IBM Information Server(IIS)/datastage platforms(ETL)/projects.
· Monitoring, Optimizing and Capacity Planning for the platforms.
· Be responsible to deliver systems on time and quality.
· Ensure the communication among the project members.
· Interact with various teams.
· Provide support to other initiatives as and when required.
Skills Required
3+ years of experience in Data integration, among which 1+ years on Datastage Enterprise edition /IBM Information Server, ((former Ascential) 7.5, 8.0, 8.1 or above);
At least 2 years experience in AIX UNIX (Administrator, support, programming);
1+ years experience in DB2 DBA;
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree or above;
Good written and verbal communication skills in English (Intermediate Level or above);
Good team work spirits, Communication remotely and via various kinds of tools like IM softwares, phones;
demanding positively under pressure is highly desired;
Ability to think laterally and solve problems under time pressure;
Preferred (which is a plus) :
1+ years experience in Shell programing;
1+ years experience in SQL programing;
1+ years experience in Business Intelligence;
Experience in Data Modeling / Database Design;
Working Experience about project life cycle management, Strong knowledge of project management;
Excellent analytical, methodological and organizational skills;
Relevant technical /product certifications;
Required
