The Program Manager is accountable for executing IBM global strategy in GCG (Great China Group) on workstation, printer planning and the assets management covering maintenance service review, hardware and software license management, to support the business in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
The program manager need interlock with local business units and IT delivery teams to validate business requirements, monitor and ensure agreed Assets Management related service deliverables and service levels are delivered. The program manager is required to assure the alignment of relevant IT planning with business requirements and the compliance with IT policies and guidelines.
The job role is also responsible for China departmental server management and work closely with GCG BT&IT server management people to interfacing with business units and IT server support team to ensure required services are delivered.
This position will also work in Innovation area to explore, test and propose IT technology and solutions for IBM internal use
Required Skills:
Strong project/program management background is required to ensure scope, solution implementation, cost-case, schedule and agreed deliverables
Strong business acumen and leadership competencies. Ability to lead cross-tower teams for multiple project execution.
Adept at people, coordination, problem solving and conflict management
Apply technical concepts for solutioning, tracking, change control and risk management.
Extensive knowledge of IT planning and IT assets management is desirable. Good server support experience/skills is preferable
This position enables working with executive stakeholders requiring good communication and presentation skills
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or above
At least 5 years experience in IT service or planning area
At least 3 years experience in managing large projects
English: Fluent
Preferred:
IBM working experience
Assets management Knowledge
Server support skills
