Job description:
China is IBM's fastest growing market, and the worldwide headquarters of IBM's Growth Markets. To accelerate the growth in China, IBM is building a world class HR organization with the HR Leadership Development Program. We are looking for international HR professionals with practical HR experience in core areas such as compensation, talent, leadership, learning and workforce management. Successful candidates will do three six-month HR rotational assignments over 18 months. Assignments may include projects requiring research and trend analysis, benchmarking, assisting in the development of communication packages, conducting research on emerging HR issues, project management, problem analysis and solution implementation related to HR initiatives.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION IS DESIGNED FOR MBA OR MASTER LEVEL CANDIDATEDS. ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE GRADUATED IN 2011-2012.

Requirements:
1. Candidates seeking local employment in China, including foreign-nationals studied outside of China with Mandarin language skills (i.e., Singaporean, Malaysian, American/Australian but Chinese original.....)
2. With 2-5yr full time or internship employment experience in MNCs before or after MBA education and geographic flexibility (domestic)
3. Good communication skills in both English and Chinese, good interpersonal skills with balance between leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills
4. Record of demonstrating and understanding of IBM values
5. Strong desire to work on both domestic and global projects
6. Long-term career aspirations to achieve HR Leader or HR Executive role, HR area
7. At least four years experience enrolled in college or university
8. Degrees sought for candidates include:
- MS in Employee Relations, HR, or Industrial & Labor Relations
- MA in Organizational Psychology
- MBA (prefer Human Resources emphasis or undergrad)
9. Fluent in both English and Mandarin
10. If the candidate is Chinese, prefer candidate received the above education outside of China or has had student exchange program experiences studied abroad (Chinese returnees). Or the candidate has employment experiences working in the cross-cultural environment.
