Job description
Role - Requirements: 30%
Applications: CERIS, HR Cycle, CERIS Update/Reply, SCF, BPEA for Comp Planner, ODM Awards file for Comp Planner, Callup Feed (no changes is several years) Totals Feed (no changes in several years), Payroll feed, Sep/LOA tool, SCF (including DB, H&W and DC specifics in requirements gathering)
Tasks:
Work with HR/IT and other IBM business areas to provide solutions to data request, new business initiatives.
Includes writing detailed user requirements, obtain approvals and work with HR/IT on scheduling requested work.
Create ASCA determination spreadsheet to be sent to BPO for Business control review meeting for any release.
Work with table team, CERIS processors, tier 2 to identifier application problems they see in day to day work.
Open work requests for solutions.
Provide input in design of solutions.
Creation of new sep/loa reason codes and coordination between CERIS, Sep/LOA, Payroll and SCF on implementing.
Role - Testing: 15%
Applications: CERIS, HR Cycle, CERIS Update/Reply, SCF, BPEA for Comp Planner, ODM Awards file for Comp Planner, Callup Feed (no changes is several years) Totals Feed (no changes in several years), Payroll feed, Sep/LOA tool, SCF (including DB, H&W and DC specifics in requirements gathering)
Tasks:
Review other test case documentation and provide signoff on other execution as independent validation.
Coordinate test plans.
Report problems using various tools.
Control point testing for various applications as needed.
Assist with data set up for testing events as needed (including FDS testing)
Role - Change/Project Management: 25%
Applications: CERIS, HR Cycle, CERIS Update/Reply, SCF, BPEA, ODM Awards file, Callup, Totals, Payroll feed, Sep/LOA, Comp Planner
Tasks:
Work with HR/IT and developer on documenting change requests and plan for release installations.
Manage CERIS work items with IBM development.
Coordinate releases with other areas based on change being delivered.
Identify release content based on business need or other legal implications.
Prioritize with BPO what work request should be delivered and when.
Preparing ASCA review summary sheets for business control reviews.
Provide business control or ASCA support as needed.
Provide America's PDTL for Comp Planner UAT and Production cycles
Create project plans and drive meetings for any changes for tools supported.
Role - Consulting: 30%
Applications: HR applications as well as other IBM business areas.
Tasks:
Consulting is mostly around CERIS data and what is available and explanation of what the data means. This is not limited to HR discussions, but involves many different aspects of "what ifs" or investigation into data and can cover many different IBM areas.
Get involved in project work as needed. Provide estimates on project work when requested.
Work with IBM BPOs on new plans or announcements.
Work with CERIS processing and table teams on issues or problems with transactions.
Special projects as they are announced - sometimes requires non-disclosures due to sensitivity
Problem determination and resolutions for applications supported may include upstream/downstream issues as well.
