Business Need / Purpose of Role:
Develop commodity strategy and implement cost reduction to lower the total cost of ownership(TCO); 

Procure and get the right quantity and quality of goods to the right place at the right time at a decent cost; 

Work alongside with other departments to carry out projects and solve issues in Supply Chain.

Objectives & Measurement

Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities:
1.Continuously develop and optimize supplier base in accordance with the commodity’s strategy and company’s growth.
2.Identify and implement material cost reduction ideas to reduce total cost of ownership by Negotiation, Cost breakdown, Should Cost Analysis, Cost drivers, VA/VE and supplier consolidation;
3.Procure raw material, PO placing, follow up and expediting, improve on time delivery(OTD), work with other partners in the process to streamline materials and information flow within the whole Supply Chain;
4.Negotiate and draft out purchasing contract, ensure that the articles of contract be complete, reasonable and legal;
5.Work with other departments of NPD, Planning, Quality and Finance to carry out RFQ for new projects, localization and solve supplier related issues;
6.EHS requirements follow up position safety requirement. Attend EHS training timely. Attend accident investigation if required.
7.Accomplish other tasks assigned by Manager.
