SUMMARY

Provide management and guidance to multi-functional project teams; Manage and enhance customer relationships; Assist with business development activities; Provide single-point-of-contact to customer for all design-related activities; Provide full accountability for project budgets and schedules.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

-Manage schedules and costs for assigned customers/programs.
-Help coordinate development of all aspects of quotations, including but not limited to: preparing preliminary project schedules, providing preliminary NRE estimates, negotiating Statements of Work, and preparing preliminary project budgets.
-Assist with business and/or contract negotiations.
-Advise upper management on overall financial health of all programs being managed.
-Provide support with identifying and preparing new engineering and/or business proposals.
-Ability to form and lead strong multi-functional teams to coordinate design team, work cell. SCM, NPI and manufacturing, to achieve company and customer objectives.
-Establish and maintain communications with both customer personnel and senior management.
-Understand and exceed customer needs and expectations.
-Negotiate/facilitate resource allocation and/or employee relation issues with Functional Managers.
-Follow PCP process to execute projects, provide dashboard, status report regularly and communicate related information to stakeholders.
-Ability to respond in a timely fashion to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or internal personnel.
-Conduct formal design reviews with customers to ensure design(s) meet customer design requirements.
-Ensure all products and services are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements and are on time and within budget.
-Ability to effectively present information to senior management and/or customer personnel.
-Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and engineering documents/data.
-Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
-Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.

REQUIREMENTS

-Bachelor's degree required, preferably in an engineering discipline, Master’s degree preferred; five years experience in product development role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-PMP certificate is must. Knowledgeable of electronic products, such as electronics, software, mechanical and SCM etc.
-Fluent in English.
-Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
-Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
-Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
-Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
-Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
-Ability to define problems collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
-Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
