Summary

The ideal candidate would have good understanding of Hardware Engineering and strong software development background to be able to debug issues and fix them in factory stations/station software

Technical skills

? Strong prior experience of C/ C++ (Objective C experience is a plus)

? Very good understanding of Linux platform (process management, memory, scheduler, file systems etc.)

? Strong debugging (gdb experience) and diagnostic skills (looking into core files, syslog etc.) with utilities & OS tools

? Experience with at least one scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Ruby, shell scripts

? Understanding of Networking, network socket programming, XML, JSON

? Strong communication & interpersonal skills to interact with factory engineers, Hardware and software teams.

? Language proficiency in both Mandarin and English

? Flexibility to travel within China and to US (10-15% annually)

Education

• BS in CS/EE or related

Experience

• More than 8 years of related experience

• Prior experience of working in Contract manufacturing or High volume consumer electronics manufacturing environments is a PLUS.
