In a typical day as a Cloud Software Engineer, you would
Develop Aruba  IOT application on cloud.

 

If you...

• Expected industry experience is 3+ years.
• Minimum education at BS or MS level in Computer Science or related fields.
• Multi-year experience in developing Cloud Applications using modern technologies in the area of system, device or network management.
• Development experience of API’s and backend modules.
• Proven record of having contributed to multi release, generally available software.
• Thorough knowledge and experience of using REST API (frameworks like Jersey, Spring)
• Strong working knowledge of contemporary Persistence Technologies – RDBMs and No-SQL.
• Working knowledge of Hazelcast, ZooKeeper, etc.
• Familiarity with at least one flavor of Linux (preferably CentOS/RHEL) and container technologies like Docker
• Production experience coding Cloud applications using Java/Javascript/Python/Scala/GO.
• Solid grasp of computer science/software engineering concepts around data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, distributed computing and cloud computing paradigms
• Ability to quickly learn, develop working experience and thought leadership in new technologies and tools

 

It is considered a plus, if you have any of the following

• Some knowledge/interest in IOT wireless protocols (specficially BLE/Zigbee)
• Knowledge of IOT data protocols: MQTT, CoAP, AMQP, websocket
• Good English skill
