JOB SPECIFICATIONS

• According to Corporate’s EHS strategy, assist development and implementation of the  regional strategy.

• Help regional site to review/interview and recruit EHS coordinator when needed.

• Provide site EHS coordinator orientation training (Corporate EHS policy, sustainability, SBS, EHMS, Road Map, scorecard, data entry, information and reporting on web site)

• Provide corporate’s EHSMS training for site management team.

• Provide information and training of site’s national, local EHS related laws/regulatory (new and amended)  to site EHS coordinator and operation team.

• Conduct on site management system Verify site EHS road map, Verify and close site EHS compliance audit findings

• Travel and visit site at least once a year, 1~4 times depends site risk level and EHS concern, to conduct EHS performance on site evaluation and audit, include the job described in the line above.

• Work with Asia Pacific EHS director and product group EHS manager to manage site EHS issue, meet Asia Pacific EHS director and product group EHS manager/director’s goal.

• Monitor, follow up and help every site work on EHS-related projects and submit a report quarterly.

• Monitor and follow up every sites recordable and lost time incident corrective action, until the action closure is correct.

• Monitor and follow up every sites web site data and information entry is accurate and in time.

• Work with 3rd party conduct compliance audit for every site annually, monitor and follow up the findings until closed.

• Share EHS BMP to every site.

• Communicate and distribute site incident information to every regional site for avoiding reoccur.

• Help site to work with EHS road map under ISO14K, ISO 45000 management system standard.

• Submit a region EHS report once a month.

• Participate annual Asia Pacific EHS council meeting and training.

• Participate weekly corporate EHS group conference call.

• Participate monthly Asia Pacific EHS conference call.

  EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATIONS

  (MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED AND KEY PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS)

   

  1. College or university graduated major in environment and/or health safety.
  2. Good on English speaking, reading, listening and writing
  3. At least 8 years EHS work experience in manufacturing facility, includes at least

    2 years experience as EHS manager
  4. Familiar with China environment/health/safety and fire protection law and regulatory
  5. Familiar with ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 management system, is able to

  create/implement/maintain ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 management system

  independently.
  6. Obtain ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 management system internal auditor

  certificate
  7. Obtained China registered safety engineer certificate if possible
  9. Able to travel in China,
