As a senior member of the Software Integration & Test (SI&T) team, you will be expected:

- Understands the product structure and behaviors in detail, to design test methodology accordingly

- Design test plan, test cases based on product requirements and design.

- Set up and maintain test systems and supporting tools, performing component and system testing for a distributed Video-on-Demand solution for both performance and feature testing, both manual and automated testing.

- Issues analysis, bug reporting, bug lifecycle tracing.

- Participates in requirement, design and code reviews

- Anticipates and identifies future test needs, keeps enhancement of current test tools, test bed, test methodology to enhance test quality and efficiency.

- Design and enhance manual and automated test infrastructure, development of test tools and automated test scripts.



Qualification:

This position requires a candidate with solid software development and test skills in Linux OS preferably with a background with distributed and multi-tiered networks in a cable or IP television environment. The candidate must have an extensive background in software development and testing, performed the work in a structured and methodical manner.

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

- Strong Software development and System test experience with complex distributed C/S or B/S applications on LINUX or UNIX platforms, at minimum 3 years.

- Solid skills on java development and testing, solid skills on at least one script language;

- Strong experience of development / testing communication protocols (such as TCP/IP or remote procedure calls), and databases (such as MySql or Oracle)

- Excellent interpersonal skills to build bridges inter-and intra-departmentally. Fluent writing and oral English is necessary.

- Experience working in an effective software testing process
