Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure all production occurs in line with the company's strict Ethical Sourcing Policies
• Support right product being placed in the right factory
• Conduct assessments, pilot run and in-line inspections in factories
• Ensure all safety, legislative and quality related requirements are fully understood by suppliers and controlled during production
• Notify key stakeholders of any major or critical production and quality issues identified whilst in factories and follow up and close off outstanding CAPs with the suppliers in question
• Support sufficient lead times for factories where product is placed.
• Perform unannounced audits and inspections when requested

Other Requirements include:

• Diploma or degree in Quality management, Industrial engineering or Mechanical engineering preferred
• A min. of 3 years’ experience as a QC supervisor in the required product category - Tools/ Power Tools
• Buying office experience an advantage
• Good command of both spoken and written English and fluent in Mandarin
• Autonomous, proactive, detailed and commercially minded
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications Word, Excel and Lotus Notes
• Travel required
• Candidates with Household or Furniture experience together with sound material knowledge in metals (stainless steel) and plastic will also be considered
• Willing to relocate to HK
