The Modular Manager is the line review, assortment and space planning expert who is leading in modular planning process implementation; Drive line review excellent practice across Merchandising, Replenishment and Modular; Ensures delivery of a high quality modular with strong customer relevance to improve shopability & customer availability and maximize sales and profit of the category and store; Play the role of coach of modular specialist and set up a role model on category management
? Drive line review process across Merchandising, Replenishment and Modular by collaborating on strategy alignment, assortment review, walkthrough practice and ensure category strategy is executed;
? Rationalize assortment allocation by optimize store clustering to ensure right item on right stores to maximize sales and balance inventory;
? Maximize space productivity by evaluating categories’ contribution and SKUs’ contribution, providing professional recommendation to Merchandising on space planning to balance sales contribution and space participation;
? Balance sales and Inventory by providing professional analysis and recommendation on Assortment Optimization to maximize sales contribution for each store to meet customer’s needs; providing professional Planogramism suggestion by using space planning tool to generate reasonable safety stock for Replenishment to maintain a reasonable inventory level for each item in each store.
? Recommends and review department modular master timeline with merchandising team based on category seasonal profile, market dynamics, store labor availability, etc to manage modular update frequency to meet business needs. Also balance stores’ workload by smoothing Modular roll out schedule.
? Execute and Monitor Modular E2E process, monitoring progress against calendar; taking required corrective actions; ensuring integration of project store strategies into timelines and processes; and ensuring escalation for any critical issue
? Provide insight and recommendation on category assortments, setup and evaluate modular display principles, quality check of modular, error resolution, modular finalization, related information/solution delivered to merchants and stores and modular traiting to provide best in-store experience to customers and ensure actionable and easy for stores to execute based on customer insight, merchandising strategy, market dynamics with rich modular development experience; collaborating with cross-functional teams (for example, Merchandising team, Replenishment, Category Advisors); identifying and resolving outstanding issues; and requesting modifications as necessary
? Manages store visits at WM and competitors of Modular team to identify areas for improvement on display; reviewing store visit summary report by modular specialist; ensuring opportunity identified in store execution is resolved and solution applying in new modular
任职要求:
Over 5 years’ experience in space planning, category management, modular, merchandising, ops or other related areas, minimum 2 years merchandising operations team leading experience
? Strong communication and influence with good presentation skills and learning ability
? Good business judgment with critical thinking/independent thinking and recommendation provider
? Manage execution and results
? Plan and pursue team-based improvement
? Conflict management
? Space management software knowledge
Proficient in both oral and written English, computer skills
