Requirements:

• Entrepreneurial creative can-do attitude
• Demonstrable experience in a leadership/executive position
• Proven track record to build strong product/tech teams in a digital tech environment
• Uses agile working methods is daily business (ideally on top some experience in methods like OKR)
• Good understanding of technology trends like machine learning including business potential
• Excellent communication skills (also in English), ideally some experience in an international environment
• Deep understanding of business requirements (ideally retail), builds strong relationship to business function up to the top management
• Excellent network in the Chinese digital community to attract talent but also to build network and synergies within the industry

What you will do:

• Complete in charge to build and operate the MCC CN dedicated relevant application landscape
• Ability to gain a deep understanding of the culture, processes and way of work at Metronom, but applying this in an appropriate way at Metronom China to create a very strong culture. For this, close communication and some travel to our headquarters in Dusseldorf will be required.
• Branding: establish Metronom as a leading tech brand in China, we expect activities like meetups, hackathon, conferences, etc. operated by Metronom China
• People: Filling in constantly the hiring pipeline and ability to retain talent at Metronom
• Advocate Metronom as a great place to work
• Empower product teams to operate within our expectations of product teams and people roles
• Oversee Metronom China's financial and budgetary activities
