PRIMARY PURPOSE:

1. New mold / fixture /process development

2. New molding technology development

3. Existing tool & process improvement

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Work with PD for product optimization as mold design and process view.

2. DFM preparation and tooling cost evaluation

3. New molding process development

4. Design the new tooling to meet the cost/quality/lead time requirement

5. Work with tooling vender for design,fabrication and debug process.

6. Work with debug team to qualify the new tool on time

7. Work with process engineer for mass production continual improvement.

8. Other task assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATION:

REQUIRED: University/College

Major in mechanical engineering, material, tooling design etc.

PREFERRED:

WORK EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED: 1. Above 5 years experiences in mold design.

2. Above 2 years connector tooling/process debugging experience.

PREFERRED:

the mechanical design experience like the special jig design, automation feeding system design for O/M.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

REQUIRED: 1. Familiar with NX design software

2. Basic molding process experience

3. Basic Product design / application concept

4. Good engineering management skill to meet cost / quality / lead time requirement

5. Good English speaking and writing capability

6. Basic skill of office software.
