An exciting Engineering Manager opportunity has arisen for a heavyweight to exert his/her expertise in mechanical engineering know-how and soft-toys product design. This is a high profile role for a market leading organisation where you will have a direct impact on the overall product design.Client DetailsOur Client is a world renowned toys company which they designs, develops, manufactures & markets their products for children & teenagers around the world. They have seen strong growth of business in couple of years and currently they employ over 1,000 people around the world with 500 based in APAC. HK is their regional office. DescriptionOur client is currently recruiting an Hong Kong based Engineering manager to manage the mechanical design of the hard & plush toys, quality & production issues. The candidate will need to have a proven track record of product development experience, coordinate closely with headquarters for product approval & project team for toys production. You will lead the product development team, support with cost negotiations and build long-standing cooperative partnerships with key suppliers. In addition you will be responsible for technical training of your team on both mechanical design and technique for soft toys development. You will report into the director who is based in HK. ProfileYou will be a highly motivated and driven engineer professional with previous experience in a full function product development.
