Our client is a leading global manufacturer and distributor of aerial work platforms and telehandlers

The position is open in Changzhou Jiangsu.

Responsibility

Sourcing for new supplier; Negotiation for the price, Pre-shipment inspection arrangement, order follow-up etc for the purchasing part.

· New source identification, selection & qualification in support of growth programs of PGs.

· Optimize existing supply base - focus on quality, delivery, cost and base consolidation.

· Review the price with suppliers periodically to ensure its reasonableness and competitiveness.

· Contract execution to secure reliable supply from local suppliers.

· Initiate, organize supplier audits and assessments.

· Update and maintain Approved Supplier List and other supplier profile.

· Coordination for logistics work between French head-quarter and Chinese manufacturing plant

· Other work assigned by departmental manager.

· Report to department manager

Requirement

Education & Experience

· Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related, Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience,

· Familiar with quality management system and tools.

· Good communication skill & interpersonal skill.

· Rich Experience on supplier development.

· Excellent negotiation and problem solving skills.

· Proficiency in English.

· Be a team player and quick learner in a dynamic organization.
