Job Title: Clarity AM

Roles & Responsibilities:
1.Expect to drive correcting activities on reported problems and incidents. This means interacting with other groups, as well as users, to identify and correct what went wrong and to verify solutions.
2.Daily monitoring of BI systems, including all steps in the ETL processes.
3.Continuously maintaining database artefacts like stored procedures, tables, indices, jobs, reports, cubes etc. to keep the systems in good shape structurally and performance wise.
4.Make root cause analysis of selected problems.
5.Participation in system development planning and design planning activities to secure feasibility of new requirements.
6.Proactively make suggestions, to promote effectiveness both of the operational and analytical processes as well as the systems.
7.Assisting users in data investigation, data analysis, digging-out, and analyzing business data, such as sales revenue by products and/or departments or associated costs and incomes. Provide historical, current, and predictive views of business operations.

Competences
1.Bachelor degree or above
2.Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
3.Excellent knowledge in and design experience of databases and concept like: Data modeling, ETL, Data Warehousing, SQL and MDX queries and OLAP.
4.Social competence to handle work in a global organization with different nationalities, cultures, background and skills.
5.Experience of SQL Server 2005/2008 and all of its parts: DBMS, Integration Services, Analysis Services, Reporting Services and SQL Server Manager.
6.Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
7.Architectural skills in software and information management.
8.Experience of Internet Information Server, Windows Server 2003/2008, .NET 2.0/3.5 (ASP, C#), Visual Studio, ProClarity, ProClarity server

An advantage if the candidate has:
1.Knowledge about database systems like: Oracle 9i, Crystal, SAP, SCM, and others.
2.Knowledge of scripting language e.g. Javascript
3.Ability to analyze user requirements and build front-end BI applications according to specifications.
4.Knowledge of business processes for sales, finance, quality and return management, general understanding of business performance management
