MANAGING PRINCIPAL PSFT/EBS/SAP HCM CONSULTANT
Provide leadership for assigned project teams focused on developing consultants, applications and technology implementations, business process analysis, and system integration.
Lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. Act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consult with management of customer organizations. Create and maintain effective client relationships. Participate in, and support, profitable business development.
Responsibilities
? Build and maintain a set of deliverables for ERP strategy and assessment: from detailed requirements gathering to executive presentation.
? Provide thought leadership around industry best practices for improving operation efficiencies of client HCM business.
? Business Development: Lead the effort at the direction of the Practice Manager and Sales Team to develop proposals, RFPs, and statements of work congruent with the scale and scope of the sales cycle and eventual engagement. Collaborate with sales to up-sell consulting services within existing engagements. Assist Practice manager in estimating projects to ensure profitable delivery.
? Project Initiation: Orient the team to the project - SOW, roles, responsibilities, deliverables, etc. Work with Practice Manager to initiate team. Build rapport with client business owners and client project team staff both client employees and consultants.
? Project Management and Oversight: On-site Project Manager responsible for the development and maintenance of the detailed project plan. Manage and support project teams to successful delivery of the client's business requirements through all phases of the implementation. Lead weekly project status meeting and have active participation in project's Steering Committee meetings.
? Staff Management: Works with Practice Manager with project staff's performance and evaluations. Acts as mentor for the professional growth of project team personnel, and will provide guidance and support to strengthen skills of all project team members assigned to the projects they manage.
? Leadership and Professionalism: Encourage teamwork and positive working relationships within the project team for all consultants and client members and the practice. Demonstrate industry and subject matter expertise to client and consultants throughout engagement. Maintain a high degree of professionalism at all times.
? Functional Lead: Provide functional application leadership and guidance to client regarding "best practices" and the functionality of the software modules through all phases of an implementation. Work with client to develop business solution designs to ensure that business requirements are met. Assist in documenting and performing application set ups for the test instance. Review those thoroughly with the appropriate functional lead to obtain sign off. Raise issues and work resolutions as they come up to ensure adherence to the project schedule. Work with the respective client functional lead to ensure knowledge transfer. Participate with the respective client functional lead through the system testing. Provide guidance to the respective client functional lead in the preparation of training materials and class agendas.

? Lead client and consultant teams in strategic and tactical / implementation threads during significant projects.
? Advise and influence customer management on process direction/decisions by providing industry, business process, and product expertise.
? Test and validate solution to meet customer business objectives.
? Anticipate project risks and make corrective recommendations to project manager.
? Resolve complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions.
? Ensure compliance with appropriate methodologies, making adjustments if necessary, to accomplish assigned work product; consistently remain in compliance with all project standard operating procedures.
? Expert in at least 3out of the 5 following functional areas:
? Core HCM business process
? Compensation
? Recruiting
? Training
? Absence Management
? Performance Management
? Demonstrate ability to recommend a solution that may include third party integration and/or extensions to implemented core HCM products.
? Ability to identify, assess and mitigate relevant risks during bid development and project execution.
? Participate in the development of knowledge bank by developing /updating project standards, user documentation, and by delivering training, either internally or externally.
? Demonstrated, excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to communicate to all audience levels from field consultants to client executive management.
? Successfully manages relationship with clients and colleagues; coaches and develops others on project team.
? Able to mentor project team members in an effort to provide professional growth, improve project success and enhance customer satisfaction. Perform project team evaluations.
? Assist Sales in providing solid recommendations and solutions to client's complex business requirements involving integration with multiple Oracle products/ modules and/or interfaces with 3rd party applications.
Minimum Qualifications
? BA / BS degree from accredited college or university in computer science, engineering, a directly related field; or equivalent work and/or industry experience.
? 12 year progressive experience working directly with HCM applications; including 5 years of PeopleSoft/EBS/SAP HCM applications and at least 5 years consulting experience required.
? PeopleSoft/EBS/SAP HCM implementation experience: 5+ full lifecycle implementations.
? ERP strategy and selection experience including writing selection RFP requirements and leading clients through vendor evaluation.

? Fluent in English speaking and writing
