People management, training and guidelines ：
? Coordinates and administers the HD Product Champion and Application Engineering team setting targets, operating standards, processes and functioning rules according to HQ guidelines to ensure effective and efficient achievement of HD & AE mission and proper relationship with all stakeholders.
? Develops and arranges technical trainings and presentations of products or applications to Sales; provides clients with technical presentations on customized products or applications.
“Heavy Duty” business development：
? Cooperates with local Sales to promote “Heavy Duty” products to clients and to identify business development opportunities in the HD market segment
? Collaborates with HQ team on the identification and activation of enablers (as necessary trainings, tools, …) to be implemented for boosting HD business.
Application Engineering：
Contributes to the development and the effective execution of local business by ensuring the identification of the best technical solutions to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders, according to a framework of guidelines, processes and procedures set by HQ.
Provides support to Sales in analyzing Customer requests during the pre-order phase and selecting the most suitable products configuration according to technical specification
Ensures proper accountability over pull project genesis and execution of special products/solutions working closely with local Design & PM team and/or CAE HQ in the elaboration of technical feasibility studies, contributing to the productdevelopment process.
Customer claim management：
Guarantees proper participation of the team to the Customer claim management process in verifying whether the issue reported by Aftersales unit is related to product application or not.
Technical Skills
Bachelor degree or above in mechanical engineering related majors
More than 5 years working experience in mechanical industry & 3 years on customer application engineering.
Well-known on the technical design and product engineering working experience is a plus
Knowledgeable on following aspects:
o Tender bidding / offer process, order / project management
o Basic CAD/PLM knowledge (NX/TCE preferred)
o Basic commercial knowledge, like cost, incoterms
o Basic SAP knowledge
Knowledge in mechanical area, preferred in our product range (gearbox and gearmotors); control drives and hydrostatic transmissions will be a plus
? Previous experience in a technical / commercial role with direct and functional reports would advantageous
Technical Skills

o NX Unigraphics (preferred) or any other 3D System
o Teamcenter (preferred)
o Capacity to utilize and understand internal SW to calculate and verify selections (es. KissSoft/KissSys – experienced preferred)
