Strategic Relevance: [Context]
Contribute to the achievement of SAI Global Assurance Services' China sales revenue, by ensuring that, as the Business Development Manager , new business and retention targets are met, by way of managing new and existing client relationships resulting in increased revenue.
Take Ownership of: [WHY]
· Ensuring that China budgetary requirements are met through the development and delivery of pipeline opportunities from existing client relationships through to green field opportunities.
· The sales administration job component via our CRM system is managed
Be Accountable for: [WHAT]
1. Sales Focus
· Growth of current and new markets.
· Management of existing and new clients through the sales process
· Ensure CRM data is kept current from a sales process perspective.
· Accurate data entry of client set up information.
· Maintain integrity of customer interaction via appropriate proposal writing.
· Holistic retrieval of customer application data for accurate technical review.
· Develop and lead the relationship with industry bodies to drive our market position within their membership
· Assist with the development and implementation of a marketing strategy that will drive solutions, services and product sales in line with the business strategy for China.
2. Operational Focus
· Create a positive working relationship between technical and sales to ensure responsive action to clients.
· Maximise consultant and auditor referrals through the management of internal relationships.
· Development of an ongoing account management regime to nurture an intimate customer relationship, establishing a personal rapport with key accounts.
· Develop strong partnership relationships with key organisations and industry bodies.
· Identify and build new revenue channels.
· Play a key role in attaining and managing the distribution of market intelligence for the business (including market research, competitive and industry knowledge)
3. Cross Functional Focus
· Work with Operations to ensure New Business is converted
· Create positive working relationship between sales and scheduling to ensure deliverability to clients.

Education/Professional Qualifications & Experience Required:
· A business degree or relevant working experience.
· Previous sales experience in a professional services industry
· Proven track record in generating sales against budget
· Experience in responding to tenders
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Working in a team environment
· Goal oriented
· Fluency in English & Mandarin
