Job Abstract:

Be responsible for product and supplier development, make sure all orders handled timely and properly, and assist Category Manager to achieve and exceed the buying target.

Job Responsibility:

1. Source corresponding products and suppliers upon market trends, buyer requirements and competitor activity; 2. Manage supplier relationships and negotiate with suppliers on commercial terms to maximize cost savings; 3. Follow up orders from the very beginning till the end and deal with all emergencies between buyers and suppliers; 4. Work closely with category manager, quality team, suppliers to ensure product quality and delivery;

5. Provide value-added service to WHSmith in an efficient and professional manner; 6. Other tasks assigned by Category Manager and Senior Category Manager.

Job Qualification:

1.Bachelor or above, major in international trade, business English or related.

2. 3+ year working experience in buying office or sourcing/merchandise dept.

in international trading company.

3. Stationery or house hold related products background.

4.High sense of responsibility, self-motivated.

5.Engaging & influential communication skill.

6.Keen observation, analysis and coordination ability.

7.Honest and strictly complying with professional ethics.

8.Excellent team work and working well under pressure.

9.Familiar with MS-Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

10.Good command of written and oral English.

11.Willing to travel if necessary.
