Job Description

• Work together within logistic planning Dept. and/or logistic operation Dept.


• Very good understanding logistic process with lean principle for automotive industry or other branches


• Independent developing logistic solutions for materials during shipping, inbound, warehousing, internal transport until line feeding process


• Define warehouse layouts with calculation of storage capacity


• Planning material flow with consideration of OEM logistics processes, material handling units etc. documentation and planning ability of layout changes in CAD will be highly welcomed


• Defining of logistic equipment and packaging in consideration with concept; capacity; cycle time; cost etc. factors


• Understanding of logistic simulation


• Understanding of 3LP Management


• Defining of logistic and project risks, during logistic planning or optimising


• Interface coordination and communication for the project between different stakeholders (Production, Logistics, Warehouse, IT)


• Developing project structures and project schedules including capacity and cost planning


• Coordination of all project participants and documentation of process changes, reporting to user/client


• Time and cost controlling, initiating and monitoring of corrective measures


• Preparation, organisation, execution and wrap up of workshops, meetings and presentations

The Successful Applicant

• Successfully completed university degree with focus on logistics engineering, industrial or mechanical engineering or comparable qualification


• At least 3 years proven experience in logistics operation (preferred in internal logistic scope)


• At least 2 years proven experience in logistics planning and optimisation


• Professional knowledge of different packaging materials with automotive OEMs packaging knowledge


• Be able to provide solution and ideas


• Good IT knowledge, especially in MS Office, SAP, MS Project and CAD


• Excellent Chinese and English skills, German language skills is a plus


• Team player, very good communication and intercultural skills


• Flexibility to work on different sites at our customers locations
