Job Responsibilities:

-Supervise the QC team, monitor, maintain and updated their performance and processes to consistently achieve NS and Next expectations and requirements of quality and delivery.

-Liaise with the NS Shanghai supply base to ensure its performance meets the expectations and requirements of Next in terms of quality and delivery.

-Ensure that the QC team conduct pp, in line and final inspections in line with the agreed standards and critical path. Train, establish and agree technical criteria with suppliers

-Maintain and improve quality standards and ensure production consistently meets acceptable standards and specifications.

-Assist new and established suppliers to understand our company requirements and information received from Next UK and advise how to incorporate this into the production

-Support NS management in the handling of customer complaints and develop corrective/preventative action plans.

-Work with the Head of Technical and Product Managers in the strategic development of the garment factory supply base. Implement and update the factory evaluation process, train the factory staff to ensure the NS Shanghai supply base is compliant and support UK visitor schedule.

-Assist the Head of Technical in the recruitment, training and motivation of team members

-Continually monitor and manage the team overhead and investigate solutions for the cost reductions and improved performance to support the business growth

Job Requirements:

-Degree/Diploma in Garment Manufacturing, or Quality Management or equivalent

-More than 7 years experience in quality management in garment product, preferably with multinational buying or trading office

-In-depth knowledge of European product safety standards, regulations and testing requirements.

-Diligence, hands-on, great problem solving techniques, strong technical skills

-Good leadership and people skills including team management, planning, communication and coaching

-Excellent communication skill, interpersonal and problem solving skills

-Good in English
