Finance Director - Shanghai
Responsibilities:
? Responsible for all accounting related operations: budgeting, general ledger, A/P, A/R, payroll, tax accounting and financial reporting and analysis etc.
? Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with legal, regulatory, and company policies and procedures
? Serve as consultant to the top management (President and MD etc.) in all aspects of accounting, work with them to coordinate and prepare the budget and financial forecasting
? Work with China management to define, measure, analyze, improve and control current processes which impact customer quality and influence operating efficiency
? Develop systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of the company's finances
? Perform internal audits and work with external auditors to ensure accurate internal and external recording and reporting of financial transactions
? Manage tax planning and compliance with Chinese government laws for corporate, payroll, and other applicable taxes
? Maintain the Transfer Pricing Manual according to local requirements
? Participate in establishing company/department goals and objectives
? Work closely with parent company in Europe
? Supervise the IT and legal affairs of the company with the help of internal and external resources.
Requirements:
? University Degree in Finance or Accounting
? At least five years experience in audit, finance and accounting in an international company
? Good understanding of international accounting standards such as GAAP, IFRS, Swiss GAAP FER
? Knowledge of ERP and SAP is a plus
? High analytical, conceptual and strategic competencies
? Excellent business understanding, self-motivated, pro-active and working hands-on
? High leadership and communication skills, team-player
? Fluent in Chinese and English
