  Telecom Coordinator  

 

  Responsibilities   

• To assists with the routine activities related to network monitoring, operations and maintenance for the voice, data and wireless global networks.

• Assists the District Telecom Coordinator(DTC) with the design, planning & implementation of communication networks

• Responsible for providing assistance & technical support for network or operational activity

• Implements systems, configures networks and resolves end users voice and data related issues

        

 

  Requirements                

• Bachelors degree or higher level degree in Computer Science or Business Administration

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in telecom project implementation or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

• 1-3 years of experience in the logistics or freight forwarding sector will be an added advantage

• Requires excellent oral (English) and written communication, attention to detail, organizational, problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills

• Ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and vendors

• Good project management skills

• Working knowledge of MS Project

• Good networking, telecommunications, systems and computer application skills

• Demonstrated success in managing projects, project teams, the project plan, tracking costs, budget, and completing projects on time and within budget

• Travel is estimated at 20% and including some nights
