Audio Applications / Product Engineer- China

 

Job Description: Provide applications and technical support to Audio Precision customers across China

 

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and over-the-phone applications/technical support for Audio Precision solutions in Electrical Audio and Electro-acoustic applications

• Be highly knowledgeable and proficient with the Audio Precision product portfolio – become the technical expert for Audio Precision in China

• Actively develop a list of customers using Audio Precision products

• Deliver technical presentations at industry events (seminars and trade shows)

• Deliver technical training to customers

• Collaborate with and support distributors on potential sales opportunities and post-sales support

• Actively communicate with AP management about sales opportunities, product needs, issues/opportunities in China

 

Required Skills/Qualifications

• 5+ experience years in applications/technical support of test instrumentation AND audio equipment is required

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering (audio specialization preferred)

• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

• Desire to grow, learn and try new things

• Self-motivated and self-starter; results driven

• Strong English-language skills are desired

• 60%+ travel within China is required; some travel to US is required
