Key responsibilities:  

· Design, build, and test software solutions based on defined technical product requirements.

· Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code.  

· Assist with software requirement document creation. Perform requirement analysis to determine completeness and compliance with software system.

· Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code.  

· Involve in all aspects of software development, including writing specification, design, and implementation of android system application per Medtronic software development procedure.

  

Basic Qualifications Include:  

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.   

· 8+ years sound experience in software design and implementation. 5+ years experience in Android system development.    

· Knowledge of Android SDK, Eclipse, Android Studio and/or appropriate equipment and software.    

· Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.   

· Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices, experience with third-party libraries and APIs.  

· Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.  

· Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
