Main Responsibility
- Identify right suppliers for outdoor material & component.
* Negotiate and finalize best deals with Component suppliers, deliver cost savings and efficiency for every production office.
* Support other PO in Outdoor Component procurement. "Hotline" concept.
* Proactive support to other POs on Component Sampling. "Hotline" concept.
* Understand trend information from R&D team and identify right suppliers for development of materials with price effectiveness
* Manage direct supply chain relations with Component suppliers and PO.
* Evaluate suppliers on multiple criteria (price, quality, service, reliability etc.)
* Improve overall material supplier performance , educate them on H&M requirements ( quality, CSR)
* Update and manage supply base data into our systems, primarily SPUR

- INTERNAL COMMUNICATION AND PO/PO COOPERATION
* Have a strong cooperation with other PO Material Organization, R&D, merchandisers, QA, QC and Sustainability team for effective execution.
* Coordinate with relevant teams to develop suppliers for material development and buying

- COOPERATION WITH SUPPLIERS
* Keep close contact with component suppliers for updated status on deliveries, coordinate with garment suppliers if necessary.
* Regular communication, give and receive feedback to improve performance

Main Requirement
* Bachelor degree, Preferably a degree in textile degree.
* Fabric & component knowldege
* Experience in outdoor/blazer componet is plus
* R&D or fabric merch background is better
* Good communication in Chinese and English
* Business minded and quality conscious
