JOB SUMMARY
The Space Planner provides advanced real estate planning services and comprehensive space planning
deliverables that meet the client's business and real estate needs/objectives. Located on the client site,
works on a global account and in a multi-country region based organization; this position is the point
person with the client. Space Planner shares knowledge and design /planning principles through client
presentations and workshops.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for managing the delivery of all reporting that will be used as management decision support
tools for forecasting space needs (business demand).
Understands business drivers to ensure all metrics provided are of value. Understands long term plan to
track & forecast against approved data.
Develops and executes migration and phasing plans for MAC moves
Communicates recommendations in written reports and graphic presentations. Produces graphic charts
and diagrams for visual display of quantitative and qualitative information. Illustrates organizational,
operational and functional relationships that pose physical and spatial impacts.
Generates conceptual solutions that respond to client’s spatial requirements, physical planning
constraints and corresponding IT, HR and compliance requirements. Evaluates alternative scenarios
against criteria for success.
Support all related moves and occupancy planning. Prepares program reports for presentation to the
Client.
Works with WorkPlace Manager to incorporate analytics into appropriate reporting and presentations.
Participates in facility project meetings. Support Workplace Managers in meetings with Business Division
representatives and facilitates discussion/programming of space requirements (headcount/growth,
allocations, adjacencies, special support needs).
Creates CAD based furniture plans.
? Maintaining JLL’s on site relationship and quality assurance with the client;
? Understanding of commercial relationship between JLL and clients, maximizing performance and
applying contract terms, in respect of Company Values;
? Keen ability to collect programming information and translate it into defined real estate strategy
and occupancy plans;
? Performing facility occupancy planning (e.g. analysis, options development, evaluation and
recommendations);
? Distilling complex data and providing essential information for client decision-making;
? Developing Test Fit, analyze space and report on building efficiency during RE site selection
process and make appropriate recommendations;
? Anticipating space solutions to support the client, meeting needs and requirements through
optimization of portfolio assets;
? Promoting, advocating, supporting client internal space policies and relevant applications;
? Managing Time Utilization Studies and analysis of heat maps, reporting and presentation;
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct line management responsibility (National role).
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
BA in Architecture, Engineering, Real Estate, Interior Design and/or Space Planning preferred;
Significant experience of Space Planning service delivery on multi site portfolio is preferred.
Interior design, space planning and large-scale project management experience is preferred;
AutoCAD drawing experience is required.
TRIRIGA software experience is preferred.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Professional Registration in Architecture or Interior Design and/or Certification in Corporate Real Estate
and Facilities Management preferred.
LEED certification or Facility Manager Certification preferred.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present
information.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as
percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several
options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Ability to learn fast and work independently.
Ability to provide efficient, timely and reliable service to client(s). Ability to present information in an
effective way. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.
Assertiveness and win/win conflict resolution;
Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office Suite applications including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel,
Outlook, etc.
Ability to work in a matrix structure in a collaborative networked environment with strict procedures and
processes;
Influential skill and ability to lead multi language, multi-cultural and multi background resources
