DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(ASIA PACIFIC)

Compliance

® Ensure China’s JLL staff and vendors are in compliance with Client HSE standards and policies as well as local regulatory agencies guidelines and requirements.

® Update China’s JLL operational teams on new laws and regulations and any changes or amendments to Client HSE standards and policies that are applicable to JLL activities.

® Conduct HSE inspections and audits as required.

® Ensure training of China’s JLL staff and vendors on site to be able to perform their HSE compliance tasks.

® Advice and assist country FM teams to identify and close out any non-conformance issues identified across the account.

Client Service Delivery

® Ensure the establishment of China’s HSE committee as per required by Client HSE standards and/or local requirements.

® Review incident reports and initiate and take the lead in investigations when required.

Contractor Performance

® Ensure vendors are managed effectively at each site.

® Ensure that all vendors are trained appropriately, implemented physical controls where required, use of appropriate work practices and procedures, and use of personal protective equipment.

® Support and implement efficient processes and procedures to allow China’s Facilities & HSE management staff to monitor site vendors to ensure they meet compliance requirements.

Staff Training & Technical Support

® Ensure the China’s training program (including HSE induction) is established and implemented for all China’s new JLL staff and vendors.

® Ensure that appropriate training records are readily available for inspection or audit.

® Provide specialist advice on compliance issues as required.

Operations Interface

® Maintain a close working relationship with the China’s Operational team.

® Support and advice the China’s Operational teams on the closure of any non-conformance issues identified through site based audit programs.

® Ensure the development, implementation and testing of China’s emergency preparedness and response plans for each site in-coordination with Client overall emergency plan and in compliance with national/ state / local legal and regulatory requirements.

® Promote HSE best practices in the prevention of incidents / accidents and near miss reporting.

® Ensure all China’s JLL staff and vendors wear appropriate PPE at all times.

® Act as subject matter expert (SME) for HSE related issues.

Reporting and Key Performance Measures

® Ensure HSE licenses and permits are in place and up to date.

® Ensure the development and implementation of site safety plans as per Client HSE standards.

® Promotes communications within the team and throughout the JLL Client contract.
