JOB DESCRIPTION General Introduction The Senior Scheduler reports to the Project Manager; and is responsible for providing direct support to the project and Enabling the projects team for the scheduling and stakeholder coordination activities related to the project. The successful candidate will have proven experience scheduling complex, multi-phase, multi-million dollar construction and/or renovation projects. The job duties include: Preparation of detailed project plans and time scaled charts and diagrams; providing development and analysis of man-hour resources, equipment resources and cost loaded, time-phased schedules, promptly reporting schedule slippage or other unsatisfactory performance. Job Description: The Senior Scheduler’s duties include, but are not limited to the following:

o Develop and maintain detailed construction planning schedules for new construction and rectification work, as required. These schedules may incorporate several scenarios used to finalize construction sequencing and contracting plans. Special emphasis will be focused on stakeholder issues in the treatment of onsite clashes.

o Develop and analyze man-hour resources, equipment resources and cost loaded, time-phased schedules.

o Prepare detailed plans and time scaled charts and diagrams o Monitor project progress against an established baseline.

o Provide impact analysis of schedule changes, identify schedule variances and opportunities and proactively develop mitigation strategies for the Project Management team.

o Maintain simplified logic schedules to highlight status of key interfaces for critical path review.

o Review third-party design and/or construction schedules and provide written comments. Participate with third-party schedulers to address the comments.

o Provide progress reporting documents and briefing materials as required. Develop creative reporting tools to communicate complex project sequencing and/or progress assessments. Responsible for promptly reporting schedule slippage or other variances.

o Possesses master schedule system and project interface and integration understanding and appreciation for time frames necessary including Performance Hall Equipment, Acoustics, Lighting Systems, Power, HVAC and other performance related disciplines.

o Perspective for base building structure and cladding schedule development and timeframe needed for Phased Education and Performance Hall build out schedules, successfully merging any competing interests. History of successful management communication, collaboration and solution development.

Job Qualifications:

o A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or any related field.

o Minimum 10-years scheduling experience, 15 years or more is preferred, with 5-years in direct support of an active construction project, preferably: hospital, hotel, performing arts center or university buildings.

o Demonstrated experience scheduling the design and construction of large-scale, complex projects; including developing and managing a progress reporting methodology for a complicated design effort.

o Experience with BIM modeling integration o Experience with Design-Build delivery methods is desirable.

o Demonstrated ability to understand a demanding, technical and complicated construction program; and the ability to communicate progress and issues to a technical- and management-level audience.

o Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera Project Planner Version 6.0 or higher is required.

o Experience with large-scale construction management type software such as Prolog is useful.

o Experience with Time Impact Analysis for claims review is required.

o Experience incorporating field information into schedules and creating as-build schedules to measure project progress.

o Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required. o Experience with Adobe Acrobat is required.

o Ability to work with others, a self-starter with results-driven focus.

o Capability to assume additional responsibilities.

o Proven accuracy, reliability and completeness in job accomplishment.

o Demonstrated success on the job, as evidenced by satisfactory performance, acceptance of responsibility and growth in previous position.

o Effective oral and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate complex issues to a non-technical audience.

o Demonstrate experience with schedule analysis software.

o Experience in Performance Hall Construction an advantage
